My plane leaves tomorrow. It's not going to go straight to Cali, though; I have to make a quick stop over in New York, security issues and such.
On the bright side, I've continued my research into the Slender Man. That's probably why he showed up today. Don't really see why, though. Everything I've got has proved inconclusive.
The lost colony of Roanoke? I can't find enough on it to confirm anything whatsoever, and haven't gotten another flesh memory since my first one.
The World Tree Yggdrasil? I can't find anything relevant to the original myths.
How about Loki? If it is him, we're screwed, but I can't find anything that says whether it is or isn't.
Der Grosse Man? I still cannot find that myth that I read about him once, but it freaked the hell out of me once I realized that it was just gone. It doesn't exist on the internet anymore.
The Fae of Celtic mythos? I still haven't looked too deeply into this, but I couldn't find anything too close with a surface glance.
I don't remember if I ever told you of why I think Loki could be the Slender Man. According to the ancient myths, Loki killed Baldr, and ended up chained inside of the earth with a serpent dripping venom on him. The venom could have devolved his features and shapeshifting abilities to what we see on the Slender Man. Loki would only be freed when Ragnarok, the end of the world, was very close.
According to the same myths, Ragnarok would a flooding of the world that leaves only a pair of humans, one man and one woman, alive. If Slendy is actually Loki, we are so screwed.
He's back.
